EKG, X-Ray, and GI, oh my!

Today is a big milestone.....I am going in for all my pre-op testing!  That means that the surgery is just around the corner!  I am not a big fan of needles (nor am I am fan of fasting for about 15 hours) but it's a necessary evil to get me to the pot of gold!  12 days and counting!

And, bonus, I am having a REALLY good hair day...

    1. It really was easy! I was most nervous about the GI part and swallowing the barium...seriously...it tastes better than some protein shakes that I have had! Probably the most uncomfortable part is they have you swallow these little crystals that taste and feel like pop-rocks, and they make you want to burp, but they ask you not to so they can see the gas. They even turned the screens so that I could watch the barium go down my throat, into my stomach, and into my intestine...it was pretty cool!!!!! I hope you get your date soon!
